A grille is an alternative to the traditional spoon for use in dissolving sugar into your absinthe. This is a lovely version of the grille. Mars will have a video on using the grille out soon!
The Cordon is a lovely reproduction of an original French Absinthe glass from La Belle Epoch. The "dose" mark is a subtle line in the glass. you fill to that line with Absinthe, then slowing drip water over the sugar through the grille and watch as the Absinthe louches (turns milky white) as the ice water mixes.
Set comes with:
1 Cordon absinthe glass as pictured above
1 Absinthe Grille for dissolving the sugar
1 package of 10 Absinthe sugar cubes, specially milled to dissolve well in Absinthe and water (they do not taste like Absinthe)
Shipped in a box, each item carefully tissue wrapped and bubbled for protection. No invoice or price information inside the box - all ready to wrap and pup under the tree!
